Me: SO ya want to know about me... My name is Ingrid as ya can tell and this is my little internet store. I currently live in a great farmhouse on an island floating out in the Puget sound in Washington State. I work a few different jobs and like to indulge my creative side in my sewing. I am the mom to two wonderful kids and the wife to a great hubby and the keeper of a few too many animals :) I have a BS in Natural Science from Evergreen State College. I don't use the degree much, but the creative energy of college sure rubbed off on me. I have been sewing and selling my threads since Fall of 1991.
The Threads: All the threads you see on my site are sewn on my trusty 4 thread serger. That means all seams are finished off professionally like ya would get in store bought clothes. I also overstitch all stress seams on a regular sewing machine as needed. There will be no loose threads or fraying seams on my garments. All fabrics are prewashed and all garments are washed to settle the seams prior to delivery. My focus is always on comfort and quality. My clothes are built to last. |
